Maths Weeks Scotland 2020
Maths Week Scotland was a huge success this year. The entire school was busy using a whole range of numeracy and mathematics skills to take part in a range of challenges and events throughout the week.
Each day we had a focus on maths in a different part of life:
Tuesday - Maths in Art
Wednesday - Maths in P.E.
Thursday - STEM
Friday - Maths in our everyday lives.
All children and staff had a great time creating some artful maths, taking part in sporting challenges, using orienteering skills, coding using the BBC MicroBit, baking and visiting local supermarkets.
The week finished with a celebration assembly where we shared and celebrated all our achievements.
We were identified as one of only a few winning schools in the Renfrewshire Attainment Team's challenge to celebrate maths in a fun and creative way.
Have a look at some of our photos from the week.
